Cadillac's Bold Super Bowl Debut: New F1 Team Showcases Striking Split Livery in Record-Breaking Campaign

In a bid to announce its arrival on motorsport's grandest stage, Cadillac has unveiled its 2026 F1 entry with considerable fanfare—and considerable investment. The American luxury marque's debut commercial aired during Super Bowl coverage, showcasing a distinctive split livery that marks a striking visual identity for the team's debut season.

The advertisement campaign represents a significant financial commitment, with broadcast costs reaching an estimated £7.3m. This premium marketing push underscores Cadillac's determination to make an immediate impact as it joins the Formula 1 grid for the first time.

However, the high-profile launch has not proceeded without complications. Hollywood director Michael Bay has initiated legal proceedings against Cadillac over the campaign, adding an unexpected layer of controversy to what was intended to be a triumphant unveiling of the new team's brand identity.

The split livery concept represents Cadillac's distinctive approach to team branding, establishing a visual signature ahead of competitive action in the 2026 season.
