The International Automobile Federation is undertaking a comprehensive assessment of its calendar commitments in the Middle East, with particular attention being paid to both Formula 1 and World Endurance Championship fixtures, according to FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem.

The leadership of global motorsport has indicated that the organisation is actively examining conditions surrounding the forthcoming events scheduled for the region. This scrutiny reflects the need to evaluate whether existing plans for these races remain viable given current circumstances.

While Ben Sulayem has not provided specific details regarding which events face potential disruption or what timeline might be involved in reaching a decision, the statement makes clear that the FIA is taking a cautious and deliberate approach to its Middle East commitments.

The review underscores the complex relationship between international motorsport and geopolitical realities, highlighting how external factors beyond the sport itself can influence the execution of the racing calendar.
