Hulkenberg, Bottas, Russell, Lindblad, Piastri and Hamilton Address Media at Australian Grand Prix
The Australian Grand Prix hosted its official FIA drivers' press conference, bringing together six of the grid's most prominent figures. Nico Hulkenberg, Valtteri Bottas, George Russell, Arvid Lindblad, Oscar Piastri, and Lewis Hamilton fielded questions from the assembled media ahead of racing at the iconic Melbourne circuit.

The Formula 1 paddock gathered at Albert Park on Thursday as six key drivers took their seats at the FIA's mandatory pre-race press conference ahead of the Australian Grand Prix. The lineup featured a compelling mix of experienced campaigners and emerging talent, with Nico Hulkenberg, Valtteri Bottas, George Russell, Oscar Piastri, and Lewis Hamilton joining Arvid Lindblad for the session.
The press conference provided the international media with an opportunity to hear directly from the drivers about their expectations for the weekend, their preparations, and their outlooks heading into one of the season's most prestigious venues. Each driver brought their own perspective on the challenges and opportunities presented by the fast-flowing Albert Park layout, which has long been a favorite among competitors for its unique blend of technical corners and high-speed straights.
With the 2026 season underway, the gathering underscored F1's commitment to fan and media engagement, allowing journalists to pose questions on topics ranging from car setup and strategy to broader issues affecting the sport. The session reflected the diverse nature of the current grid, bringing together drivers from multiple teams and at different stages of their careers.
