Melbourne Sets the Stage: Final Practice Showdown Concludes Opening Round Preparations
As the 2026 F1 world championship kicks off in Australia, teams completed their final practice session ahead of qualifying and race day at the iconic Melbourne circuit. The third and final practice session provided crucial last-minute data for all competitors fine-tuning their setups for the season opener.

The opening weekend of the 2026 F1 campaign witnessed its final practice session at the Australian Grand Prix, with all 20 drivers taking to the Albert Park circuit for one last opportunity to gather telemetry and make critical adjustments before the intensity of qualifying.
This session marked Round 1's concluding practice period, giving teams their final chance to evaluate tire performance, fuel loads, and mechanical configurations in race-day conditions. Engineers and drivers worked intensively to extract maximum performance from their machinery before the competitive action truly begins.
