Defending world champion Lando Norris has expressed strong disapproval of Formula 1's current vehicle specifications, claiming the sport has experienced a severe downgrade in car quality since the implementation of new technical regulations for 2026. Norris Criticizes Dramatic Shift in F1 Vehicle Quality Following 2026 Regulation Overhaul

In a candid assessment of the current state of Formula 1, reigning champion Lando Norris has delivered a scathing critique of the sport's vehicle lineup, asserting that the quality has plummeted dramatically since fresh regulations took effect for the 2026 season.

The defending world champion's remarks highlight a significant concern within the paddock regarding the direction of technical specifications. Norris characterizes the shift as nothing short of a complete reversal from what he describes as previously representing the pinnacle of automotive engineering in the sport.

The introduction of the new technical framework for 2026 has evidently prompted considerable reflection among the grid's top talent. Norris's comments suggest that the regulatory changes have produced machinery that falls considerably short of the standards established under the previous technical era, marking a troubling trend for a sport built on the foundation of cutting-edge engineering excellence.
