Russell Unveils Stunning Shanghai-Inspired Helmet Design Ahead of Chinese Grand Prix Sprint
Mercedes' George Russell has revealed the creative inspiration behind his special helmet design for this weekend's Chinese Grand Prix. Drawing from traditional Chinese aesthetic elements, the pole-position starter crafted a distinctive one-off design that he considers among his most striking helmet creations to date.

Ahead of the sprint race in Shanghai, Mercedes driver George Russell has showcased his custom helmet design for the Chinese Grand Prix weekend, which draws artistic elements from the region's cultural heritage.
The British driver selected the iconic blue-and-white aesthetic traditionally associated with Chinese teacups as the primary inspiration for his limited-edition helmet creation. This thematic approach resulted in a visually striking design that Russell himself has praised enthusiastically.
"I honestly think this is one of my coolest helmets, ever. It's the first time I'm seeing it, and it's come out even better than I anticipated," Russell remarked about the finished product.
With pole position already secured for the sprint race weekend in Shanghai, the Mercedes star will carry his culturally-inspired helmet design into competition as he looks to maintain his strong form throughout the Chinese Grand Prix weekend.
