F1 2026 Calendar Shake-Up: Bahrain and Saudi Arabia Races Postponed
Formula 1 has officially announced the postponement of two key Middle Eastern races scheduled for April. The fourth and fifth rounds of the 2026 championship, originally planned as a back-to-back double-header, will no longer proceed on their initially confirmed dates.
In a significant scheduling adjustment for the 2026 season, Formula 1 has confirmed the postponement of the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix. The two races had been locked in for consecutive weekends in April, with Bahrain slated for April 12 followed by Saudi Arabia on April 19, forming part of the championship's packed international calendar.
The double-header arrangement, which would have marked rounds four and five of the campaign, will now need to be rescheduled. This development represents a notable alteration to the 2026 championship structure as currently planned.
