Article 2.1.2
Application to Affiliate Companies
Chapter: SECTION C: TECHNICAL REGULATIONS
In Simple Terms
When a company agrees to supply parts to F1, this agreement doesn't just apply to that main company—it also applies to all of their related affiliate companies. This means any smaller companies owned by or connected to the supplier must follow the same rules.
- The Non-Assert Agreement binds both the main supplier and all affiliated companies
- Affiliate companies have the same legal obligations as the primary supplier
- This prevents suppliers from trying to get around the rules by using subsidiary or related companies
- The agreement creates a unified responsibility across the entire corporate structure
