Article 2.1.4
Continued Binding Effect After Cessation
Chapter: SECTION C: TECHNICAL REGULATIONS
In Simple Terms
If a fuel or engine oil supplier agrees to the Non-Assert Agreement and supplies F1 teams during the 2026-2030 era, that agreement stays in effect even after they stop being a supplier. They can't go back on their commitments once they've left.
- The Non-Assert Agreement continues to bind suppliers even after they stop supplying fuel or engine oil
- This applies specifically to suppliers during the 2026-2030 championship period
- Suppliers cannot escape their legal obligations by simply ceasing supply
- The agreement's terms remain valid and enforceable post-cessation
