Rear Wing Endplate Reference Volume (RV-RWEP-BODY)

This rule defines the maximum allowed shape and size of the rear wing endplate (the vertical panel at the wing's edge). The endplate is measured in a specific 3D space between two points on the car, and material is removed from the front, back, and bottom to create the final allowed shape. Teams must stay within these boundaries or face penalties.

• The endplate is defined within a 600mm depth zone (XR=150 to XR=750) on the car
• Three planes trim away excess material from the front, rear, and bottom surfaces
• This ensures all teams use similarly-sized rear wing endplates for fair competition
• Violations are checked during technical inspections before and after races
