In Simple Terms
The FIA assigns pit garages and pit lane spaces equally to all teams. Teams must follow strict rules in the pit lane: no painting lines or adding special grip surfaces, no equipment blocking the fast lane, no powered lifts allowed, and all work must happen in the designated inner lane area.
- FIA allocates all garage and pit lane spaces equally among competitors
- Teams cannot modify pit lane surfaces by painting lines or enhancing grip (except basic drying/sweeping)
- Equipment must never be left in the fast lane and powered lifts are prohibited
- All work must be conducted within the designated inner lane only

FIA allocates garages and Pit Lane areas equally. Competitors cannot paint lines, enhance grip beyond drying/sweeping, leave equipment in Fast Lane, use powered lifts, or work outside Inner Lane in Pit Lane.
