THC - Tyre Requirements

In Simple Terms

F1 teams can only use tyres that are specially made by the official Tyre Supplier for current races, or authentic period tyres if specifically allowed. They cannot use tyres from other manufacturers or modify standard tyres for use in competition.

• Only tyres manufactured by the official F1 Tyre Supplier are permitted
• Alternative 'period tyres' may be used only if they meet specific regulations
• Teams cannot source tyres from unauthorized manufacturers or suppliers
• All tyres must be purpose-built for Formula 1 racing
