DE - FIA ECU Requirement

During a Demo Event (DE), all F1 cars must be equipped with the official FIA control unit (ECU) as specified in the technical regulations. This ensures that even during public demonstrations, cars meet the same electronic control standards as race cars.

• Demo Events require the mandatory FIA ECU specified in Article C8.3
• This regulation applies to ALL cars participating in a DE
• The requirement ensures consistency between race and demonstration technical specifications
• Non-compliance would result in the car being unfit for the demonstration event
