Weighing After LTCS

Chapter: ARTICLE B3: PROCEDURES DURING A COMPETITION

In Simple Terms

After any red flag (LTCS) during Sprint Qualifying or regular Qualifying, all cars must be weighed to ensure they meet the minimum weight requirement. Drivers must go to the FIA garage and turn off their engines when instructed. All cars that make it to Q3 or SQ3 will definitely be weighed.

  • Weighing is mandatory after every red flag stoppage during qualifying sessions
  • Drivers must proceed to the FIA garage and stop their engine when signalled by officials
  • All cars advancing to Q3 (Qualifying) or SQ3 (Sprint Qualifying) are automatically weighed
  • This ensures all vehicles comply with minimum weight regulations before competition continues
