Pit Wall Personnel During Start

During the start of a race, teams must keep their pit wall clear of unnecessary people. Only authorized team staff, race officials, and fire marshals are allowed in this area unless the Race Director gives special permission.

• Pit wall must be kept clear during the race start
• Only specific team personnel listed in Article B1.6.8 are permitted
• Race officials and fire marshals are always allowed
• Race Director can authorize exceptions on a case-by-case basis
