Race Shortened by One Lap Per Extra Formation Lap

If there are extra formation laps due to track conditions or incidents, the race will be shortened by one lap for each extra lap that was completed. This means if there are 2 extra formation laps, the race distance is reduced by 2 laps from the normal distance.

• Each extra formation lap triggers a one-lap reduction in the race distance
• This rule applies to the Total Target Competition Distance (TTCS)
• The reduction helps maintain reasonable race duration when formation laps are extended
• Multiple extra formation laps result in multiple race lap reductions
