In Simple Terms
The Override Mode system starts turned off before each race stint. It automatically turns on once the race leader crosses a specific detection line on track. If a Safety Car is deployed, the system immediately gets switched off again.
- Override Mode is disabled before every race stint begins
- System activates automatically when the race leader first crosses the Detection Line
- Safety Car deployment instantly disables the Override Mode system
- This cycling helps regulate overtaking assistance during different race conditions

Prior to the start of any TTCS the Override Mode system will be disabled. It will be enabled when the leader has crossed the Detection Line for the first time during the TTCS. When Safety Car is deployed Override Mode system will be disabled.
