In Simple Terms
Each wheel on an F1 car must be attached using just one fastener (bolt). That fastener can't be bigger than 105mm in diameter or longer than 75mm, and its only job is to hold the wheel to the car.
- Single fastener requirement - only one bolt per wheel is allowed
- Size restrictions - fastener diameter maximum 105mm, axial length maximum 75mm
- Dedicated purpose - the fastener can only be used to attach the wheel assembly to the car
