Driver's Drink System
Chapter: SECTION C: TECHNICAL REGULATIONS
In Simple Terms
Every F1 car must have a drink system that holds between 1 and 1.5 litres of liquid to keep the driver hydrated during the race. This system is mandatory and must be positioned in a specific location near the cockpit area of the car.
- All F1 cars are required to have a driver drink system
- The system must hold between 1.0 and 1.5 litres of fluid
- The system must be located in a specific area of the car chassis (between XC=-1400 and XC=0)
