SSC Reclassification

If a team's special supplier contract (SSC) falls through or ends, the FIA can reclassify that supplier into a different category (like local teams, trade regulated, or other types) and apply new technical rules accordingly. This ensures competitive fairness when supplier arrangements change.

• The FIA has authority to reclassify a supplier if the SSC agreement fails or is terminated
• Reclassification options include LTC (Local Team Contract), TRC (Trade Regulated Contract), DSC (Designated Supplier Contract), or OSC (Other Supplier Contract)
• New technical regulations become applicable after reclassification to maintain competitive balance
• This rule prevents teams from gaining unfair advantages through supplier arrangement changes
