F1 allows teams to buy certain car components from other teams or suppliers. These components come in two types - Transferable and Free Supply - and both must follow the same technical rules. This lets smaller teams use better parts without having to design and build everything themselves.

• Teams can purchase Transferable Components (TRC) and Free Supply Components (FSC) from suppliers or other teams
• Both TRC and FSC must meet identical technical regulations
• Components can be designed and manufactured by the supplying team or an approved third party
• This system allows Customer Teams to remain competitive by accessing high-quality components
