Article C17.5.7
OSC/OSCNT Version Declaration
Chapter: C17
In Simple Terms
F1 teams must tell the FIA which version of their steering control systems (OSC/OSCNT) they're using on their car. This information is then shared with all other teams so everyone knows what technology each competitor has.
- Teams must declare the specific version of their steering control system (OSC or OSCNT) to the FIA
- The declared information is made available to all competing F1 teams for transparency
- This ensures fair competition by preventing teams from using undisclosed system upgrades
- Version declarations help the FIA monitor and regulate steering control technology across the grid
Official FIA Text
All F1 Teams obliged to declare to FIA version of each OSC or OSCNT used on car. Information made available to all F1 Teams.
