In Simple Terms
Teams must use the standard F1 brake system (SSPUC) exactly as it comes from the manufacturer without making changes. If they find any problems with how it works or safety concerns, they need to tell the FIA immediately. Only in very rare situations will the FIA allow teams to modify it.
- SSPUC components cannot be modified and must be installed according to manufacturer specifications
- Teams must immediately report any compatibility, reliability, or safety issues to both the FIA and the component supplier
- The FIA can only authorize modifications in exceptional circumstances
