SSPUC Mandatory Use

Teams must use the official SSPUC (a safety system component) as designed and cannot bypass or replace it with their own solution. The FIA can only allow different parts in rare, special cases.

• SSPUC use is mandatory for all teams with no exceptions under normal circumstances
• Teams cannot bypass, replace, duplicate, or add complementary systems to the SSPUC
• The FIA reserves the right to authorize alternative components only in exceptional circumstances
• Violation of this regulation can result in technical infringements and penalties
