In Simple Terms
Teams are allowed to install a small transparent windscreen on the front of the cockpit opening to protect the driver. This windscreen must be very thin (no thicker than 3mm) and has strict size limits to maintain safety and visibility standards.
- Maximum height of 30mm in the Z-axis (vertical direction)
- Maximum width of 300mm in the Y-axis (side-to-side direction)
- Must not exceed 3mm in thickness
- Can extend above the cockpit mid-reference line (RV-CH-MID) if needed

Transparent windscreen measuring less than 30mm in Z, less than 300mm in Y, and no more than 3mm thick may be fixed to forward face of Cockpit opening and may extend above RV-CH-MID.
