In Simple Terms
The front drum deflector is a small piece of bodywork at the very front of the car that helps direct air flow. It must fit within a specific box-shaped space (150mm long, 45mm wide, 25mm tall) and can be made of up to two separate sections to help manage airflow around the front wheels.
- Must fit within a 150×45×25mm bounding box positioned below the front axle line
- Can consist of up to two non-intersecting (separate) volumes to allow design flexibility
- Each volume can have up to two sections in any vertical plane
- Designed to manage airflow and improve aerodynamic efficiency around the front drum area

Front Drum Front Deflector Bodywork must lie within axis aligned cuboid of [XW, YW, ZW] = [150, 45, 25] and below ZW = 0. Comprise up to two non-intersecting volumes with up to two sections in any plane.
