Article C3.15.4
Front Drum Rear Deflector to Front Outboard Wheel
Chapter: C3
In Simple Terms
Teams must attach the front drum deflector stay (a structural support piece) to both the front wheel and the rear deflector drum, creating one complete assembly. They can smooth the joints with rounded edges up to 10mm to improve aerodynamics and safety.
- The front drum deflector stay must be properly integrated with the front outboard wheel and front drum rear deflector
- Fillet radius (curved edge transitions) cannot exceed 10mm in size
- These three components form the complete Front Wheel Bodywork Assembly
- Proper trimming and combination of parts is mandatory for technical compliance
Official FIA Text
