Article C6.2.4
Fuel Lines in Cockpit Prohibition
Chapter: C6

For safety reasons, fuel lines cannot run through the driver's cockpit area. This keeps fuel away from the driver in case of accidents or leaks, reducing fire and injury risks.
- Fuel lines must be routed outside the cockpit to protect the driver from fuel exposure
- This is a safety regulation designed to minimize fire hazards in crashes
- Teams must design fuel system routing that completely avoids the cockpit area
- Any fuel line passing through the cockpit violates this regulation
