In Simple Terms
After any crash or incident, F1 teams must immediately give the FIA access to their car's Accident Data Recorder (ADR) - basically a black box that records what happened. The FIA gets to keep a copy for their investigation, and the team also receives a copy of the data.
- Teams must provide immediate access to the Accident Data Recorder following any accident or incident
- The FIA retains a copy of the ADR data for official investigation and analysis
- Teams also receive a copy of their own accident data for review
- This requirement applies at any time after an accident occurs

At any time following an accident or incident F1 Teams must make the FIA ADR available and accessible to the FIA. A copy of the data will be made available to the F1 Team.
