F1 teams need to know about any changes to how they install official FIA systems and components well in advance. The FIA must tell teams about these changes by March 1st of the year before the season starts, giving them plenty of time to prepare and understand the new requirements.

• Teams must receive notification of installation instruction changes by March 1st of the previous season
• This applies only to FIA-specified (official) systems and components, not team-designed parts
• The early notice requirement ensures teams have adequate preparation time before the season begins
• Changes to installation procedures are distinct from technical regulation changes
