Article C8.5.3
Team to car telemetry prohibition

In Simple Terms
Teams are not allowed to send telemetry data (information about car performance) to their cars during the race. The only exceptions are for the official FIA safety system and the basic connection handshake needed to establish communication between the car and team systems.
- Teams cannot transmit telemetry data to their cars during competition
- The FIA Marshalling System is exempt from this prohibition for safety purposes
- The basic handshaking protocol needed to establish car-to-team communication is allowed
- This rule prevents teams from using real-time performance data to gain unfair advantages
