Article D10.2.5
Subset Cost Cap Reporting - Non-Submission Breach
Chapter: D10
In Simple Terms
If a Formula 1 team submits their cost cap report late (missing the deadline for their Subset Accounts), they've committed a rule breach. This violation gets reported to the Cost Cap Adjudication Panel, which will decide on appropriate penalties.
- Teams must submit Subset Cost Cap Reporting on time - late submissions count as a breach
- Missing applicable deadlines for Subset Accounts triggers a Non-Submission Breach
- The Cost Cap Administration automatically refers the case to the adjudication panel after issuing a Final Notice
- This breach can result in penalties determined by the Cost Cap Adjudication Panel
Official FIA Text
An F1 Team that submits a Subset Cost Cap Reporting Template when it has failed to meet applicable deadlines for Subset Accounts shall have committed a Non-Submission Breach. The Cost Cap Administration will refer the matter to the Cost Cap Adjudication Panel following the issue of a Final Notice.
