Adjustments

Chapter: D

In Simple Terms

If an F1 team's workforce isn't following the required segregation rules (basically keeping different departments separate), the team must increase the costs they report in their budget calculations. It's a financial penalty built into their cost cap compliance.

  • Teams must report higher costs if their workforce doesn't properly follow segregation requirements
  • This is part of the cost cap regulations that control team spending
  • Non-compliance triggers automatic upward cost adjustments in financial reporting
  • Affects how teams are evaluated for budget cap violations
Official FIA Text

Non-compliance with Article F6 of Operational Regulations: In the event that Workforce engaged by an Entity Subject To Segregation Requirements is not fully complying with requirements set out in Article F6 of the Operational Regulations, the F1 Team must make an upward adjustment in the calculation of the Relevant Costs.
