Language Requirements for Cost Cap Administration

In Simple Terms

Teams must submit their cost cap financial reports in English. When communicating with the Cost Cap Administration, teams and F1 can use either English or French, but any documents that aren't in English might need to be translated into English at the team's expense.

  • All financial reporting documentation from F1 teams must be in English
  • General correspondence with Cost Cap Administration can be in English or French
  • Non-English documents may require certified English translations paid for by the team

All correspondence with and documents submitted to the Cost Cap Administration shall be in English or French, but Reporting Documentation submitted by the F1 Team must be in English. The Cost Cap Administration may require certified English translations of other documents.
