In Simple Terms
When a team agrees to settle a cost cap breach with the FIA, the Cost Cap Administration will publicly announce what happened, what rules were broken, and what punishment was given. However, they won't share sensitive business information that could harm the team competitively.
- The FIA publishes a summary of every agreed breach settlement so fans and competitors know what happened
- The summary includes details about which rules were violated and what penalties were imposed
- Enhanced monitoring procedures may be announced if the team will face extra oversight going forward
- Confidential financial or technical information is protected and not made public
