ABA Terms for Individual F1 Team Members
Chapter: D8
In Simple Terms
When an F1 team member breaks cost cap rules, they can face obligations, conditions, and penalties set by the Cost Cap Administration. The team member may also have to pay for the reasonable costs involved in investigating or enforcing these rules.
- The Cost Cap Administration can impose sanctions directly on individual team members, not just teams
- Team members can be required to follow specific obligations or conditions as part of penalties
- Individual team members may be ordered to cover reasonable costs incurred during cost cap enforcement proceedings
- This applies to all F1 team members involved in cost cap violations
