ABA – Ongoing Compliance Obligation for Individual Members

This rule confirms that even if a team member has an agreement with F1 (called an ABA), they still must follow all the Financial Regulations. The ABA doesn't give anyone a free pass to break the financial rules.

• Team members cannot use an ABA agreement as an excuse to ignore Financial Regulations
• The ABA is an additional agreement that doesn't replace or reduce financial compliance requirements
• All individual F1 team members remain fully responsible for following financial rules at all times
• Financial Regulations apply regardless of any other agreements in place
