Article D8.6
Review of Reporting Documentation
Chapter: D8
In Simple Terms
The FIA Cost Cap team reviews all the financial documents teams submit to check they're following the rules. If a team provides important information late or uses estimates instead of actual numbers, it could be considered a rule violation. Only concrete, factual information counts toward checking if a team stayed within budget.
- Cost Cap Administration examines all submitted financial reporting documentation for rule compliance
- Late submissions of required information in response to initial notices can result in procedural breaches
- Only actual, verified figures are considered; estimates and predicted future costs are excluded from compliance checks
- Any reliable evidence can be used during the review process
