Composition of Cost Cap Adjudication Panel

The Cost Cap Adjudication Panel is the group that decides if teams have broken F1's spending rules. It has between 6 and 12 judges who are chosen by the FIA from candidates suggested by teams or the FIA itself.

• Panel size ranges from minimum 6 to maximum 12 judges
• Judges are elected by the FIA General Assembly
• Candidates are proposed by FIA Sport Members or groups of 5+ F1 Teams
• This panel has the authority to adjudicate cost cap violations
