Article D9.4.5
Vacancy Replacement
Chapter: D9
In Simple Terms
If a Judge leaves their position and there aren't enough Judges left (fewer than six), the General Assembly votes to appoint someone new to finish that Judge's term. This ensures the governing body always has sufficient decision-makers.
- A replacement Judge is only elected if the number of active Judges drops below six
- The replacement serves for the remainder of the departing Judge's original mandate
- The General Assembly is responsible for voting on and appointing the replacement
- This rule ensures continuity and proper governance of the organization
Official FIA Text
