In Simple Terms
When F1 holds a hearing about cost cap violations, at least three judges make the decision. One of these judges must be suggested by a group of at least five teams. The head of the Cost Cap Adjudication Panel picks all the judges and decides who leads the hearing.
- Minimum of three judges required per hearing
- At least one judge must be nominated by five or more F1 teams
- The Cost Cap Adjudication Panel President appoints all judges and designates the hearing president
- This ensures independent representation from both officials and teams

For each case, the judging panel comprises at least three Judges, including at least one elected following proposal by a group of not less than five F1 Teams. The President of the Cost Cap Adjudication Panel appoints panel members and designates the President of the Hearing.
