In Simple Terms
During a hearing about a potential rule violation, the President of the Hearing panel can decide to bring in additional witnesses if they think it would be fair to both sides or help them make a better decision. This ensures all relevant information is heard before determining if a penalty should be given.
- The Hearing President has discretion to call additional witnesses beyond those initially presented
- Witnesses can be called if fairness to the parties requires it
- Additional witnesses can be called if their testimony would help the judging panel reach a proper decision
- This rule ensures comprehensive and fair investigation of incidents
